A Huge Thank You to Heywood Model Railway Group

From everyone here at Fylde 3D Designs, we would like to say a massive thank you to Peter Lees and everyone at Heywood Model Railway Group for a fantastic club open day on Saturday 12th September.

We had an absolutely brilliant time and were made to feel incredibly welcome by everyone at the club. It was a real pleasure to spend the day meeting fellow railway enthusiasts, chatting about the hobby and seeing the fantastic work that goes on behind the scenes.

One of the highlights for us was getting the opportunity to see all of the club's different layouts. Each layout had its own character, details and ideas, and we came away with plenty of inspiration for our own projects and designs at Fylde 3D Designs.

We also managed to learn a few new things along the way, which is one of the things we love most about being part of the model railway community. There's always something new to discover, whether it's a clever modelling technique, a new approach to scenery or simply seeing how other modellers bring their layouts to life.

It was a fantastic day, and the warm welcome from Peter and everyone at Heywood Model Railway Group made it even more enjoyable.

Thank you once again to Peter Lees and the whole team at Heywood Model Railway Group for having us. We really appreciate the hospitality and the opportunity to be part of such a great club open day.

We look forward to seeing you all again in the future — and we'll certainly be taking plenty of inspiration from what we saw!
